The "tongue in cheek" lyrics for this song were written shortly after the Las Vegas massacre. Trying to put myself in the shoes of a hard core NRA supporter who values the “freedom” to personally own and arm themselves with weapons specifically designed to kill humans and wage war yet readily available to any pathetic soul to murder as they will. The second amendment was written for another time long ago. Adhering to its meaning with no limits for our modern time is ludicrous. The NRA with their fear mongering, hatred stoking and vitriol is an American death cult.

The second amendment was put in place to give all White Men the legal authority to hunt slaves and kill Natives on sight as the Westward expansion progressed. The same ideology is at work today. Institutionalized White Supremacy is embedded in the very fabric of this Nation and is rationalized over and over again.

Tell me, do you really believe a gun is going to save your life and the lives of your family? Who exactly are you scared of? I will tell you, your fellow American, all “race cards” aside. Are you really going to take on the militarized police and the US govt all on your own with your little Glock or AR? Like Rambo, right?
