The lyrics for this song were written just after the Charlottesville Virginia debacle which was a real eye opener for us all. In the wake of this situation we saw the current presidential administration, the corporate media and the alt right come together in an all out assault against Anti Fascism and Anti Racism. A doubling down on American White Power, Anti semitism, endemic institutionalized racism violence and misogyny with the unfortunate murder of the brave Heather Heyer. Thus, the mangled disguised voice quotes in between my verses, as evidence of this. As an audio engineer, I am a trained listener and I do not wish to honor the people who uttered those words with their individual vocal qualities which for me, are putrid and disgusting. I literally get the dry heaves when I hear the disdain in Donald Trump's voice talking about my people.
